Pho 2000 is a small chain of noodle restaurants in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The branch right next to Ben Thanh Market is well known for former US President Bill Clinton having stopped by for a bowl of soup in year 2000. He was the first US president to visit Vietnam since the American-Vietnamese war.

Pho 2000 is an improved version of a typical Vietnamese soup stall with proper chairs, tables and waitress service, as well as a menu in English and Vietnamese. Westerners will generally find it more convenient here than at most typical pho bars on the street corners of Saigon with their miniature plastic stools.

When Mr Clinton visited for lunch with his entourage of diplomats and followers, he ordered a pho ga (pho with chicken) and sampled a pho bo (pho with beef) and drank a glass of papaya juice. Chelsea, the president's daughter, ordered a vegetarian pho. Since Mr Clinton's visit, the slogan of the restaurant has been "Pho for the President". The location has since become somewhat a tourist attraction, with fading photos and press clippings from the former president's visit on the walls. Apart from the Clinton's historical visit, the main attraction is the tasty pho soup. If pho is however not your thing, try the bowl of vegetable curry with tofu.

Pho 2000 is open everyday from 6am to 2am.
